Reference | Fleet Manager

Fleet Manager, a virtual machine (VM), is a central component that helps you deploy, upgrade, backup, restore, and configure your Dataiku instances.

Fleet Manager contains blueprints that allow you to deploy pre-configured instances or complete fleets with minimal setup. A blueprint is a set of pre-configured instances or complete fleets.

You can automatically create instances, instance setting templates, and virtual networks with Fleet blueprints. When using a blueprint, you can review the settings before deploying the instance.

Permissions

Fleet Manager needs permissions to create Dataiku instances, create snapshots (backups), and restore, or reprovision, from snapshots in your cloud computing environment. If you want Fleet Manager to perform more tasks, such as automatically creating subnets or security groups, you’ll need to grant additional permissions for these tasks.
