How-to | Manage sampling on insights#

The sampling method for a chart is independent from the sampling method for an insight produced from it. To manage the sampling method from a dashboard insight:

  1. Hover the insight and click on the insight arrow (right next to the name).

  2. Click on Edit.

  3. On the left panel, navigate to the Sampling and Engine tab.

  4. From the Sampling method dropdown, select the method that suits the best.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Back to the dashboard.

  7. Hover the Sample tag on the insight to see more information about the sample.
